Jeff Hopkins

Director of Asset Management

With over 22 years of development experience, Jeff Hopkins directs the operational and transactional activities for Wood Investments Companies’ (WIC) projects, including acquisitions, leasing, development, asset management, and dispositions as Director of Asset Management.

Jeff's journey in real estate development began at Hopkins Real Estate Group (HREG), where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s development projects, including acquisitions, due diligence, entitlements, leasing, design coordination, and construction administration. His previous roles at HREG include Vice President of Leasing, managing the leasing activities of existing shopping centers and new developments, tenant relationships, retail tenant mix/merchandising strategy for projects, marketing programs, and tenant coordination during construction. Prior to serving as Vice President of Leasing, Jeff held the position of HREG’s Development Manager, involved in all phases of project development, from acquisition and entitlement to project completion and operations. During this role, Jeff contributed to the development of nine centers encompassing over one million square feet throughout Southern California. Before joining HREG, Jeff worked for CB Richard Ellis, where he honed his skills in tenant representation, specifically representing commercial office tenants.

An active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Jeff has served on the ICSC Next Generation Program committee. He earned a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of California, Los Angeles.
